Press ReleaseSupreme Silver Press releases and site updates www.supremesilver.co.uk was conceived primarily to sell unique items of jewellery from different designers and silversmiths we knew. We looked at other jewelry stores on the web and there was a lot of sh*t out there being sold at crazy money. We're passionate about jewellery and we've met a lot of jewellery designers so with our knowledge of the internet and thier knowledge of jewellery...we thought we'd create the best online jewelery store in the world What is 'Sterling' silver? Basically this means that the silver content used to make the item of jewellery is made up of 92.5% solid or pure silver and 7.5% of another metal (various metals used) to give it its hardness and durability – 100% silver would be too soft to wear and would bend too easily. This is the industry standard…Tiffany & Co. and most other larger high end brands use the same mix of bullion. Some high street companies and most of the jewellery you find in markets like Portabello, Camden, Spitt' etc., will be less pure - something like 50% pure silver, 50% metal. We initially started selling interesting silver cufflinks but now stock a much wider range including silver necklaces, over 70 different silver charms, silver earrings, mens silver rings, womens silver rings, sterling silver keyrings etc.. We must mention our suppliers AK37 who just wholesale jewellery and offer over 70 unique silver charms to buy in bulk. It's also possible to choose the finish of the product; gold plated, rhodium plated, oxidised silver for an old vintage silver look. Silver charms, small silver pendants, silver rings and silver cufflinks -all unique designs AK37.com also manufactures bespoke silver designs for other designers and has indirectly made designs for both Nike and New Balance contact them directly for any wholesale jewellery enquiries Since our online jewellery store opened in 2003, it's evolved into a portal for other jewellery designers and manufacturers and our aim is to attract other like minded designers to show their items on the site You will find over 200 completely exclusive jewellery items on www.supremesilver.co.uk By May 2006 there will be over 30 different classic sneaker charms or small pendants inspired by designs from the great sneaker pioneers…Nike sneaker charms, Adidas sneaker charms, Puma etc. Look out for the IPOD charm being launched December 05 Coming late 2005 are the ‘old school’ tattoo themed and rockabilly ‘twisted’ silver charms and silver necklaces…also ‘old school’ skateboard inspired jewellery…for those who remember There will also be at least 2 different ranges being added from two new silver designers due end of 2005…keep checking the site as they will be only be available on paramorJ.com…you won’t have seen anything like it before! We even sometimes manage to source vintage antique silver charms from the 1920s to the 1970s. In 2006 we will be selling limited edition mens silver rings necklaces the likes of Vivienne Westwood jewellery, Silas jewellery, Bathing Ape jewellery and Stussy too. We love the Bape head general rings and the Westwood skull rings and hope to stock a large collection of this style of jewellery. What is ParamorJ and what does it mean!? supremesilver.co.uk is simply a re-branding of ParamorJ.com - the problem being no-one remembered the web address! Paramor is our mother’s maiden name and was chosen as the original company name for many reasons; in memory of my amazing grandmother Joan, in recognition of our mothers influence and also my grandfather Norrie Paramor, who was a very well known conductor and record producer in the 50s and 60s. He produced lots of great music and for quite a while was listed in the Guinness book of music records for producing the most UK ‘number 1s’. He produced tracks with The Shadows (including ‘Apache’), a lot of early Cliff Richard hits, Frank Ifield and all of Helen Shapiro’s’ tracks including ‘walking back to happiness’. Expect more 'crazy jewells' says Atlanta born designer Francois Nordmann. Francois also pointed out the next range will be under the SWB (Standard Wonder Boutique) brand and not SWS. 5.3.06: New mens and womens silver chains just added - all solid silver Italian made chains...the Itallans and the world leaders in making silver chains so we decided to stock some...these look good with some of the silver charms we have 6.3.06: After looking at other jewelry websites, we've decided we are the best online jewelry site out there...you've tried the rest now try the best mwah ah ah ah 6.3.06: AK37.com, our sister company and wholesaler of the Paramor brand, gets a complete rebuild...AK37 stated the site was long overdue a rebuild and with the addition of some new partners and stockists, as well as new designs due throughout 2006, the site had to be rebuilt to allow more functionallity. 6.3.06:The larger Jordan 1s and Koi carp silver pendants will be available in April 3rd...look out for the black silver Jordan 1s and other Paramor pieces due in May 2006 28.3.06: New silver cufflinks (traditional silver cufflinks...nothing wild) just in stock and about to be photgraphed but the large silver Koi carp pendant (Japanese tattoo style) by Paramor is now in stock - only 15 available on the site 12.04.07 Can you believe it's been over a year since we've written any press releases! Slack! OK there's been lots of changes to the website - the most obvious was re-branding the site from www.paramorJ.com to www.supremesilver.co.uk Reason for this was simply as no-one could remember the web address. We've not done much with our sneaker section as most of the sneakers we buy we end up keeping! We've do have a pair of UK size 8 EAM chuck Ts which are awesome...check out bulletsandbirds.com. We've added lots of excellent sterling silver mens rings. Silver rings by SWS and LED - a lot of tattoo inspired designs at the moment. We've added all the new LED gang hand and LA themed silver pendants that were featured in Dansk magazine last year. We've added some great solid silver keyrings - good gifts for men and sneaker heads and we've done a Dunk high silver keyring. We're slowly re-shooting all the jewellery/ jewelry on the site but it takes a long time so please excuse some of the poorer images. The sneaker pendants are still popular...sone of the bigger sizes look good and have been popular. 10.05.07 Just added a few more silver rings by AK37; 2 different Iron cross rings, Bolt and Bones pendants, Eagle ring, Tiger 2 ring. We've just got 5 more of the LED x Paramor Air charm bracelets which are very cool as most of the small sneaker pendants are now discontinued. 22.05.07 Just added some worn but great condition original Nike Air Jordan 1 in red black. 2001 re-issue and individually numbered. Still got the Converse X EAM in stock only UK Size 8 left. We also added 8 new silver charms or small silver pendants...old designs from Paramor...the last ones we found in stock check as no longer made. We've added another 12 sterling silver chains and 2 more silver charm bracelets. We'll be adding more jewellery over this week... We've also joined the British Jewellers Assocation so hope that will bring some interesting leads whether it be new silver designs to sell or manufacturing processes...who knows 18.06.07 Press and Site update: We've just changed our name yet again - this is the 3rd and final time...we are now www.supremesilver.co.uk or www.supremesilver.net We have been formally known as www.paramorJ.com and www.cockyfella.com - the site still remains in the same owndership and the designs and still the same but we just couldn't decide on a decent domain name...but we like supremesilver so that's there to stay. The site has been optimised on paramorJ.com so we have to just forward or point the supremesilver domain to this. We've just managed to get hold of some of the coolest little plastic Nike sneaker keyrings or Nike Keyrings. We don't think they are endorsed or approved by Nike so we only have the ones we managed to source. Most of us here ar supremesilver are sneaker collectors or sneaker geeks so when we found these little Tiffany Dunk SB keyrings with real laces and insane detailing and colours, we got a little excited! We've got just a handful of the Nike keyrings/ Nike sneaker key-rings including...Stussy Dunk SB key-ring, Tiffany Dunk SB key-ring, Boca Juniors Dunk SB key-ring, Jordan 1 key-ring, Air Max 87 Key-rings and maybe 10 others all at £7.50 with free postage. We love them! 04.07.07 We've just re-shot all our womens silver earrings. The images are much bigger and clearer and we've also added some very cool real feather earrings - really great bright colours so ideal earrings for summer. For the purpose of google, these earrings would suit the Nurave scene and any lovers or bright and bold silver earrings. Fluro earrings etc. 05.07.07 LED Dunk LOW SB sterling silver keyrings and LED Sneaker Sole keyrings will be available next week - super limited numbers and we've only got 3 of each pendant coming 10.07.07 You know what, we've just voted ourselves the best online jewelry store...for a second year running - everyone else just sells crap bland jewelry bought from un-inspiring wholesalers. So yeah, we're the best online jewelry shop and that's official ;) 11.07.07 Why do the Americans have to spell Jewellery 'Jewelry' - our page ranking would be so much better if there was a universal spelling of jewellery! so now I have for the benefit of google to litter the site with both spellings to stand a chance of getting US traffic to the site! USAs best Jewelry store...UKs best jewellery store June 2008 Update: We've not updated the press pages on the site for some time - we've added quite a few items of jewellery but not much news - most people don't read it anyway so we spent the time just hunting down cool new jewellery The biggest update on the site was a complete overhaul and re-design - we changed the whole style of the site making it fresher and easier to navigate - we also added a great ring size guide as we get so many enquiries about how to size a ring. We've added quite a few new silver necklaces - mens and womens but all our jewellery is pretty much unisex - just depends what you're style is. We've added more of the replica sneaker key-rings which have been super popular and are almost sold out We've added at least 10 new mens rings - some awesome horseshoe rings, some praying hand rings, star rings, the classic silver skull rings...more of those We've got 3 new silver charm bracelets - some cute, some dark but all unique. We're still making custom silver charm bracelets - just choose up to 15 silver charms and we can add them however you want Another angel wing pendant and angel wing earrings - actually loads of new earrings...feather earrings is day-glo colours which are great for summer dresses. We've got the jordan 1 earrings, meat cleaver earrings Well for the rest of 2008 we are off to Bread and Butter in Barcelona to hunt done new designers we can stock - so in July look for new and exciting silver jewellery from the webs coolest jewelry site (we keep changing the spelling so google finds us in the US of A
